My Review Of The Short Film ‘Moments’

When I first saw the short film, I was intrigued I didn’t know what to expect.
It starts off you see a young white woman going about her own business, meeting her boyfriend, then into the park to do a few stretching exercises.
I presume from the film that it is in New York, but I am not sure where in New York.
Then in the same film you see a young black man going about his business, taking the tube and going about his affairs.
Then these two young people meet on a park bench, they don’t speak to each other because they are on their own phones.
Well I won’t tell you all that happens because that will spoil the twist.
If that young man was my son, I would have expected nothing else but what he did.
You see it’s showing that not all young black males are muggers and drug dealers.
Did the young woman do it on purpose? or was it a genuine mistake.
You can see the young man had no hesitation at all in his actions.
I think this short film shows people that are ignorant, or racist there is good in everyone, no matter
what their race.
